Free learning course – open call for participants

On May 9 and 10, 2023, the 3rd meeting of the partners of the international LISTEN project took place in Athens. The aim of the meeting was to agree on the completion of the learning course for childcare workers.

This aim of the meeting was reached and the registration for participation in the course was launched on May 23, 2023. The training must be completed by self-study until June 30, 2023. After completing the training and completing the final test, all participants will receive a certificate of successful completion of the course. The training is primarily intended for kindergarten teachers and caregivers in childcare facilities/nannies. However, it can also be attended by university students preparing to work with pre-school children, participants in a retraining course for babysitters or people who work with children’s groups or kindergartens (e.g. active seniors – reading grandmothers/grandfathers, etc.).

If you are interested in participating in the course, do not hesitate to contact the Czech project coordinator Kateřina Jarolímkova: katerina.jarolimkova@seznam.cz.

As part of the project, the Family and Job Association is responsible for the preparation and implementation of practical teaching materials for educators and supporting methodologies for volunteers, which will be available to all training participants. In total, teachers and nannies will receive 20 lesson plans for activities aimed at supporting the social inclusion of disadvantaged families within the framework of My Family, My City, My Country and My Planet. At the same time, supporting material for volunteers was created for each of the curricula, which explains in more detail the methodological aspects of working with children and parents during the activity.

All materials will be tested in community activities – some of them already took place in April and some are planned for June.
